Young Leaders in Training

Today after Kids Club, we had some of the youth over to our home to eat, swim and meet about Kids Club and their role as leaders each Saturday morning.  Our intern, Emily, has been working with me to put together a "leadership" program for these youth that will grow as they begin to serve in various ways.  We met with them and they divided into groups to discuss characteristics of good leaders versus bad leaders as well as what their specific responsibilities are in Kids Club.  With this in mind, we are wanting to meet with them monthly for leadership training that goes far beyond just Kids Club, though this has been a great place to start!  They are really taking ownership of their roles and are excited to be a part of this leadership team.  We are excited about pouring into them knowing that these are the future leaders of this town in this next generation!  Here are a few pictures of the teenagers in their training.
